100 MoUs in Tourism sector alone in AP Visakhapatnam: Minister for Tourism and Culture Kandula Durgesh on Friday said the Vizag CII Summit received a wonderful response, with delegates from over 70 countries attending with full confidence in the alliance government. He expressed happiness on the success of the CII Summit.
He said, through the CII Summit, investments will come into the tourism sector in Visakhapatnam, Amaravati, and Tirupati, and that nearly 100 Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) are being signed in the tourism sector.
As part of the CII Summit, Minister Kandula Durgesh inaugurated the tourism stall. On this occasion, Special Chief Secretary Ajay Jain, Tourism MD Amrapali, and tourism officials explained the details of the tourism stalls to the Minister.

Durgesh inaugurated a touch kiosk machine that provides information on various tourist destinations in the state. He inaugurated a machine offering experiences of tourist destinations like Araku and Gandikota, and adventure tourism experiences to tourists through technology. He inspected stalls set up with Lepakshi handicrafts, Etikoppaka, and Kondapalli toys.
He inspected the Khadi textiles arranged by the AP Crafts Council and learned about the manufacturing process. He tasted Araku Coffee and praised it as wonderful. He visited India's first robotic cafe set up by the Bean Board organisers and inquired about the robot's performance. He visited the Tree-to-Bar Chocolate, International Chocolate Salon, and Coconut Cafe set up by the Andhra Pradesh Food Processing Society and tasted related snacks made from coconut. He visited the stall featuring 34 handloom textiles from places like Mangalagiri, Pedana, Venkatagiri, Uppada, Dharmavaram, and Chirala.
