Cyberabad Police launched New Website Hyderabad, July 28 (INN): The Cyberabad Police have launched their newly redesigned official website http://cyberabadpolice.gov.in aimed at enhancing transparency, improving citizen-centric services, and making public information more accessible. The upgraded portal features a modern user interface, is mobile-friendly, and caters to citizens of all age groups by providing real-time updates and seamless navigation.
The website serves as a comprehensive digital platform offering a range of services, including real-time alerts, announcements, safety guidelines, and department-related updates. A significant addition is the new citizen feedback QR scanner introduced by Telangana Police, which enables the public to rate the efficiency and conduct of police personnel. The website also offers a jurisdiction finder tool integrated with Google Maps, helping users identify and locate their nearest police station with ease.
Through the CPPMS platform, citizens can now apply online for permissions and licences for public events such as marathons, music shows, and film shootings, as well as for controlled blasting and the use of loudspeakers, eliminating the need for physical visits to police offices. Another critical feature is the cybercrime defreeze request link, which allows victims from across India to request the unfreezing of their accounts online. The site also provides secure access to the national cybercrime reporting portal, ensuring swift and safe registration of complaints.
Citizens can also access services related to traffic management, including e-challan payments and real-time alerts under the Cyberabad Traffic Pulse initiative. Facilities to report traffic violations and check the status of passport applications and police verification certificates are also available. The website hosts contact information of key officials, police station details, and latest tender notices, ensuring transparency in administrative processes. Awareness programmes, safety campaigns, and updates from press conferences and community engagement initiatives are regularly published.
Cyberabad Police officials stated that the portal is designed not only to improve service delivery but also to strengthen citizen engagement through digital governance. Plans are underway to introduce additional features, such as login access for gun licence holders and integration with state platforms like Mee Seva, making the portal a dynamic and evolving citizen resource.
