'పిఆర్పీకి ఒకే గుర్తివ్వండి'
వాషింగ్టన్ : ప్రజారాజ్యం పార్టీకి ఉమ్మడి (ఒకే) ఎన్నికల గుర్తును కేటాయించాలని ప్రవాస చిరంజీవి ఆర్గనైజేషన్\ ఎన్నారై ప్రజారాజ్యం విభాగం భారత ఎన్నికల కమిషన్ కు విజ్ఞప్తి చేసింది. ఎన్నికలు సమీపిస్తున్న ఈ తరుణంలో 'ప్రజారాజ్యం' కొత్తగా రాజకీయ రంగంలో అడుగిడిన పార్టీకి ఉమ్మడి గుర్తును కేటాయించకపోవడం అన్యాయం చేసినట్లే అవుతుందని ప్రవాస చిరంజీవి ఆర్గనైజేషన్, ఎన్నారై ప్రజారాజ్యం పార్టీ విభాగం ఉపాధ్యక్షుడు, అధికార ప్రతినిధి శ్రీనివాస మానాప్రగడ ఒక ప్రకటనలో ఆందోళన వ్యక్తం చేశారు. చిరంజీవి కొత్త పార్టీకి ఉమ్మడి గుర్తును కేటాయించాలని ప్రవాసాంధ్రులందరూ ముక్తకంఠంతో కోరుకుంటున్నారని ఆయన పేర్కొన్నారు. ప్రజారాజ్యం పార్టీకి ఉమ్మడి గుర్తును కేటాయించాలని ప్రజారాజ్యం పార్టీ ఎన్నారై విభాగం భారత ఎన్నికల కమిషన్ కు వినయపూర్వకంగా విజ్ఞప్తి చేస్తున్నట్లు తెలిపారు.
ప్రపంచ వ్యాప్తంగా ఉన్న ప్రజారాజ్యం పార్టీ, చిరంజీవి శ్రేయోభిలాషులు ముందుకు వచ్చి పిఆర్పీకి ఉమ్మడి గుర్తు కేటాయించాలంటూ భారత ఎన్నికల కమిషన్ కు ముక్తకంఠంతో ఈ మెయిల్ ద్వారా విజ్ఞప్తులు పంపించాలని ప్రవాస చిరంజీవి ఆర్గనైజేషన్ కోరింది.

ప్రజారాజ్యం పార్టీకి ఉమ్మడి గుర్తును కేటాయించాలనే విజ్ఞప్తి భారత ఎన్నికల కమిషన్ అందేలా ఆ పార్టీకి మద్దతుగా ప్రదర్శనలు నిర్వహించి, ఈ మెయిల్స్ పంపించాలంటూ ఎన్నారై ప్రజారాజ్యం విభాగం కోరింది. ఈ క్రమంలో చీఫ్ ఎలక్షన్ కమిషనర్ ఎన్. గోపాలస్వామి పేరున ప్రవాస చిరంజీవి ఆర్గనైజేషన్ ఒక మెమొరాండాన్ని రూపొందించి జత చేసింది. ఈ మెమొరాండంలో చోటు కల్పించిన విధంగా ఈ మెయిల్ చేసే వారి పేరు, నివాసం ఉంటున్న ప్రాంతం, దేశం లాంటి సమాచారం పూర్తి చేయాలని విజ్ఞప్తి చేసింది. పూర్తి చేసిన ఈ మెయిల్ ప్రొఫార్మాను

Dear Sir,
I am an NRI from USA and would like to bring the following for consideration and favorable action.
I am a well wisher of Praja Rajyam Party in Andhra Pradesh, which has more than 50 Lakh registered members and the Party and its President Mr. Chiranjeevi has a huge following in rural areas of the state of Andhra Pradesh. Quite a few of these voters are either illiterate or semi-literate and therefore, rely on the symbol to cast their votes. Lack of a common symbol for the party is bound to confuse voters and deprive them of choosing the leader of their choice. In the absence of allocation of a common symbol, the voters' ignorance will cause undue advantage for other parties.
Again, the post election scenario of not having a single symbol could also open legal issues and validity of elected member's association to the party. Therefore, request the CEC to consider this appeal and grant the party with a dedicated single symbol.
