AP CM chosen for Business Reformer of the Year' Award of Economic Times Selection was made by a distinguished, high-level jury
Visakhapatnam: Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu has been selected for the 'Business Reformer of the Year' award by the country's leading business daily, The Economic Times.

The award acknowledges the Chief Minister's proactive implementation of business-friendly policies, far-reaching industrial reforms, and sustained efforts in positioning Andhra Pradesh as a preferred investment destination. Under his leadership, the state has attracted large-scale domestic and global investments, strengthening economic growth and employment generation.
The award will be formally presented to the Chief Minister by Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman at a special ceremony scheduled to be held in March.
The selection was made by a distinguished, high-level jury comprising some of India's most respected industrialists, financial experts, and legal luminaries. The jury includes Bharti Group Chairman Sunil Bharti Mittal, JSW Group Chairman Sajjan Jindal, Kotak Mahindra Bank Founder Uday Kotak, Narayana Health Founder Dr. Devi Shetty, Senior Advocate Abhishek Manu Singhvi, and Tata Trusts Chairman Noel Tata, among others. Deloitte served as the knowledge and advisory partner to the jury.
In previous years, the 'Business Reformer of the Year' award has been conferred on eminent leaders such as Ashwini Vaishnaw (2024), S. Jaishankar (2023), Nirmala Sitharaman (2021), former Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis (2019), Arun Jaitley (2017), and Piyush Goyal (2015).
Meanwhile, messages have been pouring in to congratulate Chandrababu Naidu.
Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan took to X to *congratulate Chief Minister on being honoured as Business Reformer of the Year. He praised the CM's investor‑friendly policies, the massive ₹25 lakh crore of investments attracted in just 18 months, and the collaborative effort of the entire Cabinet. 'This award reflects the bright future we're building for Andhra Pradesh,' Pawan Kalyan said, adding that the state is now a preferred destination for domestic and global investors .
Chandrababu Naidu was given a standing ovation for getting the award by ministers, officials and collectors when the news was announced at the district collectors'conference at Amaravati.
Congratulating the chief minister Bheemili MLA and former minister Ganta Srinivasa Rao said it was a proud moment for all Telugu people and it was recognition for a visionary leader who has been striving for overall development of the State.
