Naidu describes Kiran's deeksha a drama
HYDERABAD: Terming chief minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy's deeksha in Delhi against state's bifurcation process as a drama, Telugu Desam president Nara Chandrababu Naidu accused Reddy of acting as per the directions of the Congress high command to mislead the people and for electoral gain.
Speaking to reporters in Delhi, Naidu said the entire Delhi drama was scripted at 10, Janpath. 'If the chief minister was serious about keeping the state united, he should do deeksha in front of Congress president Sonia Gandhi's residence and not at Jantar Mantar. Instead of meeting President Pranab Mukherjee, he should meet Sonia who is the one dividing the state.
'The chief minister is, on the one hand, opposing the decision of the CWC favouring bifurcation of the state and, on the other, supporting party candidates in the Rajya Sabha election. He is also praising Sonia Gandhi. Whom is the Congress trying to fool? People can clearly see through its game.

Earlier, Naidu met Shiva Sena chief Uddhav Thakeray in Mumbai and obtained a promise that the Maharashtra party would not support the T-bill in Parliament.
