Raghuveera denies Kiran's resignation after RS polls HYDERABAD: Revenue minister N Raghuveera Reddy has dismissed reports that chief minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy will resign after the biennial elections to the Rajya Sabha on Friday.
Referring to Telangana, he advised the chief minister, heads of the state Congress, TTDP and YSR Congress, and YSRCP floor leader in the Assembly YS Vijayalakshmi to jointly meet political leaders in Delhi to explain their respective stances.
That would help the Centre arrive at a decision, he said and regretted that the PCC and TDP presidents had neither spoken in the Assembly nor gave their views in writing on the Telangana bill.
Asked about the chief minister's protest in Delhi, Raghuveera Reddy said NT Rama Rao, when he was chief minister, and the present Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal also observed fast.
