TDP Boath MLA G Nagesh set to join TRS Hyderabad: TDP seems to be feeling the heat of Telangana as many of its leaders are contemplating to switch loyalties to other parties. Many of the party leaders, who are unhappy with party president N Chandrababu Naidu for his stand on separate Telangana State, have started quitting the party.
TDP MLA G Nagesh representing Boath constituency (SC reserved) in Adilabad district on Wednesday announced that he would join Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) in the presence of K Chandrasekhar Rao in the next few days.
The MLA's close associates said that Nagesh, who was also the TDP president of Adilabad district, got the green signal from the TRS chief. The TDP leader, who served as minister in Chandrababu Naidu's government, was considered to be one of the close associates of the TDP president.
Meanwhile, several TDP leaders were trying to convince the MLA and said that the party would bear all poll expenses in the next election if he continued in Telugu Desam. However, Nagesh was joining the TRS as there was no political future for him in TDP.
