Naidu tall talk unrealistic, YSRCP

Hyderabad, Feb 27 (INN): Terming N Chandrababu Naidu's tall promises on developing Seemandhra as unrealistic YSR Congress has said TDP is in no way in contention to win seats in the elections and cannot influence the Centre in any which way.

'The TDP leader boasting that only TDP can develop Seemandhra and create an Utopia is a mirage as the Party will be rejected in both the regions as the nine-year misrule of Chandrababu still haunts the voters, who have given their verdict in the numerous by-elections earlier and this time around it would be no different,' party spokesperson Vasireddy Padma told reporters here on Thursday.

For any Party to influence the Centre it should have about 25 -30 MP seats while TDP is not sure of winning a single MP seat and can hardly win 10 MLA seats in any region in the next elections as people are vexed with the Congress and TDP alike. It is YSRCP that will win more than 30 seats and will be in a position to seek justice to the people of the state.

What the TDP leader told at Praja Garjana public meeting was a bundle of lies. It was Naidu who gave the letter to divide the state some six years back and his Party MP cast the first vote for division and went on record praising the Bill. In what Naidu is different from which put forth the defective bill?

During the six years, Naidu has never spoken that Seemandhra is being subjected to injustice. On the contrary, it is YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has taken the united state stand and was firm on it.

People are not in a position to believe Chandrababu Naidu's lies as his past of not keeping up his poll promises is still fresh in their minds. If he has such Utopian plans to develop Seemandhra, why did he not take up at least one good project in Seemandhra while he was Chief Minister for nine years?

The same man who gives a letter to bifurcate the State and is responsible for the pathetic situation in Seemandhra promising that only he can develop the region is ridiculous.

During his nine year term he has shown nepotism in allotting prime land at throwaway prices to his select few and was responsible in closing down of many PSUs and he has demeaned agriculture and farmers and could not provide water in the Krishna delta for the first crop even, she said.

If the same person goes to the people on a development plank he will be snubbed by the voters very badly. He could not even provide a proper route to the international highway and his plans always went awry as TDP priorities lies elsewhere.

It was YSR who has built the Express Highway to the airport, started many irrigation projects and stood for the welfare of farmers, students and women and YS Jagan Mohan Reddy's priorities are always in promoting a welfare state, she said.

Naidu instead of seeking votes on the merits of his governance is resorting to negative publicity by targeting YS Jagan Mohan Reddy and this will not work. His baseless allegations of our Party merging with Congress will have no takers as it was our Party President who had defied Congress high command while Naidu surrendered to it for personal benefits.

The advent of YSRCP has spelt doom to Congress and TDP and the exodus from the two parties obviously speaks of the popularity of YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, she said.

YS Jagan Mohan Reddy is the only leader who could balance development and welfare and take the Party forward in Telangana and other regions as well. When asked about the threat of disrupting the Odarpu Yatra in Telangana, she said; 'there is no place for such things in a democracy."
