TDP's Praja Garjana in Nellore put off NELLORE: The Praja Garjana of TDP chief N Chandrababu Naidu has been postponed to March 5. The meeting, in which the TDP planned to admit Congress MLAs into its fold, was originally scheduled for March 2.
According to TDP Rajya Sabha member Garikapati Ramamohan Rao, said the meeting had to be postponed following the Naidu's tour to Delhi. He said Chandrababu Naidu will participate in the district-level functionaries meeting and interaction programme with constituency incharges on March 5. Later, he would address a public gathering in Nellore City.
Meanwhile, party MPs Sujana Chowdary, Garikapati Ramamohan Rao along with senior leader S Chandramohan Reddy and others held discussions.
The MPs enquired about the dissidence prevailing in party functionaries over the induction of Nellore city MLA M Sridhar Krishna Reddy, Sarvepalle MLA Adala Prabhakara Reddy, former Kovur MLA Polam Reddy Srinivasulu Reddy into the party.
