Shilpa Mohan Reddy to join TDP Nandyala: Nandyala MLA Shilpa Mohan Reddy said that he would formally join the Telugu Desam Party on March 8 in the presence of TDP President Chandrababu Naidu.
Addressing the media along with former Minister Farooq here, he said that as he was a staunch integrationist who wanted the state to remain united, he resigned from the Congress Party in protest against its unilateral decision to bifurcate the state.
He said that the UPA government had totally ignored the interests of the people of Seemandhra region. Mohan Reddy said that under the present political circumstances, the state could prosper if only TDP was brought back to power.
