Brickbats, bouquets for Pawan Kalyan HYDERABAD: Even before his arangetram into public life, film actor Pawan Kalyan is receiving brickbats.
The googley was bowled by his brother Chiranjeevi's son Ramcharan Teja. 'I will support my father. Though Pawan Kalyan is my uncle, I will vote for my daddy. At individual level, I will support my uncle,' he said but made it clear that he knows nothing about politics.
He said in the family everyone has freedom to choose one's path and that he would always stand by his father.
TRS chief K Chandrasekhara Rao took potshots at the actor likening actors entering politics to 'gangireddulu' that appear in front of houses during Sankranti times.
'I hear that a film actor is entering politics. He will do what his brother had done which is nothing. We need not be ruled by Andhras. We can rule ourselves. Let us build a Telangana where there is a smile on every face,' he said.
But CPI state secretary K Narayana had some kind words for Pawan Kalyan. He described him as one who had mass appeal and that he would welcome him if he decides to take a plunge in public life. 'I will be happy if Pawan Kalyan can communicate to people and make their lives better,' he said.
