Kadapa man attempted suicide at Raj Bhavan, dies Hyderabad, March 9 (INN): A 29-year-old man who attempted suicide near Raj Bhawan on Thursday while alleging harassment by a police inspector died at the Gandhi Hospital on Sunday.
According to police, the deceased, Pawan Kumar, a resident of Kadapa attempted to kill himself after he was allegedly harassed by one inspector Ramkrishna.
Pawan was in huge debts and wanted the Governor to intervene to stop harassment by a Circle Inspector of Kadapa. However, he was not allowed by the police to meet the Governor.
Upset over denial of permission, he consumed some unknown pesticides. He was immediately rushed to the Gandhi Hospital where he died on Sunday.
