MPTC, ZPTC elections may be held on April 6
Hyderabad, March 9 (INN): Local elections of Mandala Parishad Terriotorial Constituencies (MPTCs) and Zilla Parishad Terriotorial Constituencies (ZPTCs) across the State are likely to be held in a single phase on April 6.
Out of 23 districts of Andhra Pradesh, except Hyderabad, all other 22 districts were divided in to a total of 1122 Mandals. Each Mandal consists of multiple villages.
According to sources, the State Election Commission has finalised the schedule for MPTC and ZPTC elections and will hold the polls on April 6. The results are likely to be announced on April 9. However, an official announcement on the same is likely to be announced on Monday.
