Cyberabad Police Commissioner asks Cops to act tough


 
Hyderabad, March 9 (INN): As per the guidelines of election commission of India most of the officers of Cyberabad were transferred and new police officers of and above rank of inspector have reported in the commissionerate and they were posted in various wings.

Cyberabad Commissioner CV Anand held a meeting with all the officers of and above the rank of inspector and briefed the new incumbents about the topography and enlightened them for strict implementation of model code of conduct of Elections and implementations of other laws, usage of Standard Operating Procedure in cases related to Land and Property disputes and about crime against women.

The Commissioner also reiterated the impact of the visible policing and surprise checking and maintain good liaison with the revenue and other departments and to deploy Paramilitary forces during checking. He also suggested that all the officers should give patient hearing to the general public as well the leaders of various political parties. He emphasized to maintain utmost restraint and should not suffer the innocent people on the pretext of checking. He also suggested that all the officers should quickly respond to the SMS, Phone Calls given by the general public.

All the rowdy sheeters, previous electoral offenders and ex-convicts are being bond over and watch on their activities will continue. Wine shops and Bar and restaurants shall be closed in the stipulated time and if violation is noticed concerned will be dealt severely.

The three elections are escalated the work load on the field staff therefore he cautioned them to restrain themselves in dealing the public who are coming to the police stations with their grievances.

The Commissioner is exercising the executive magistrate powers and cases are booked against rowdy sheeters and land grabbers and groups who are continuously creating L&O problem in the locality on one and other pretext. The impact of excising the Executive powers against the lawlessness people gave a tremendous relief to the SHOs. Finally he wished all the police officers to feel proud to work in the peculiar situation which gives immense pleasure and job satisfaction.

Anand also reviewed the UI cases and pending NBWs. The SHO are instructed to reduce the UI cases and to execute the NBWs especially in election related cases. Special instructions were given to reduce the pendency of SC and ST (POA) Act cases.

As the ongoing program of counseling the property offenders, their family members should continue as this program is yielding good results. Rehabilitation of the old property offenders is a prestigious pet program of CP Cyberabad and the CCS police should identify the genuine deserving old property offenders for rehabilitation which may give good results in the long way.

All Inspectors and ACsP, of all divisions and wings, Madapur Zone DCP Kranthi Rana Tata, Balanagar Zone DCP A R Srinivas, Malkajgiri Zone DCP Koteshwar Rao, Shamshabad Zone DCP Ramesh Naidu, LB Nagar Zone DCP Vishwa Prasad and Jt. Commissioner of Police Y Gangadhar attended the meeting.
