TDP leader opposes JC brothers entry into party Tadipatri (Anantapuramu): A Telugu Desam Party meeting was held here on Sunday to discuss the entry of Congress leader and Tadipatri MLA JC Diwakar Reddy and his brother JC Prabhakar Reddy.
While the Telugu Desam Party activists, by and large, supported the decision to admit the siblings into the party fold as it would strengthen the party, the lone dissenting voice came from a second rung leader, K G Murali, who is strongly opposed to the move.
Expressing fears that the JC brothers would obstruct his political growth in the Telugu Desam, Murali said that he suffered immense financial losses on account of them. However, he was dissuaded by other leaders like former MP K Srinivasulu and Pardhasaradhi from raising such issues at this critical juncture.
