Kadiam, Rajaiah followers come to blows over ticket Warangal: The followers of Telangana Rashtra Samithi leaders Kadiam Srihari and Dr T Rajaiah have clashed with each other at Teegaram village in Zafargadh mandal.
The clash took place over the Station Ghanpur Assembly ticket as both the groups demanding the ticket to their leader. In the incident the followers of Kadiam Srihari, A Ramana Reddy, T Brahma Reddy, T Karunakar Reddy and others had allegedly beaten up the followers of Rajaiah, Gujjuri Raju, Sudarshan and others belonging to Suraram village in the same mandal.
Both the groups came face to face at Teegaram village and started arguing over the ticket issue and that turned into a fight. Rajaiah's followers sustained minor injuries. The fighting groups ran away and later lodged complaints against each other. No arrests were in connection with the incident.
Meanwhile, speaking at Mahabubabad, Srihari has stated that it was the party high command that has to decide on the contestants for a seat. 'I would follow whatever decision the party takes regarding my contest in the elections,' he added.
