OUJAC wants 20 percent Assembly seats HYDERABAD: TRS chief K Chandrasekhara Rao's gesture of promising ticket to student leader Pidamarthi Ravi has set off angry reactions from other leaders of OU JAC.
The JAC members who are up in arms against the TRS chief, met at the university, took a serious view of KCR not being bothered about other student leaders.
The students said KCR was acting in a dictatorial manner forgetting that Telangana became a reality only because of the students. KCR cannot ignore their contribution and should reward them, the student leaders pointed out. This apart, they made a demand that KCR should allot 20 percent of seats to students in the Assembly elections.
They said that KCR is trying to usher in a 'Dorala Rajyam', which the underprivileged sections had fought for decades and came out of its shackles.
