Ponguleti ridicules Naidu's call for 'Social Telangana'
Hyderabad, March 16 (INN): Congress MLC Ponguleti Sudhakar Reddy on Sunday ridiculed the announcement of TDP chief N Chandrababu Naidu of forming "Social Telangana".
Speaking to media persons here, Ponguleti said that Naidu made all efforts to stop the bifurcation of Andhra Pradesh and created obstacles in the formation of Telangana.
However, now he was making promises of "Samajika Telangana" (Social Telangana). He alleged that Naidu behaved like a cat on the wall on the Telangana issue. He said that Naidu and TDP would be rejected by the people of Telangana in the ensuing elections.
Ponguleti also condemned TRS President K Chandrasekhar Rao for his alleged remarks against Telangana PCC chief Ponnala Lakshmaiah. He demanded that KCR tender an unconditional apology and withdraw his remarks.
Accusing KCR of following a dictatorial attitude, he said that KCR went back on his own promises of merger or alliance with the Congress party.
