For Rayapati , the road ahead is not clear Guntur: Suspended senior Parliamentarian Rayapati Sambasiva Rao has reportedly gone underground during the last one week to ponder over his future plans. Even his phone is not accessible.
Rao is said to be utilizing the privacy to interact with his followers to decide the course of the action in the context of his dilemma to join which party and to contest from where.
Seen as a supporter of Jai Samaikyandhra Party chief N Kiran Kumar Reddy, it was presumed that he would join the fledgling organisation. But he surprised everyone by not doing so.
There is speculation that Rayapati will join the TDP, as many Seemandhra Congressmen have done in pursuit of greener pastures, with the aim of bagging the Narasaraopet Lok Sabha ticket.
Even this is said to be uncertain as Daggubati Purandeswari, a new entrant to BJP, is said to be eying either Narasaraopet or Vijayawada. The Narasaraopet seat for Rao may be difficult as TDP leader Pemmasani Chandrasekhar is an aspirant. As a last resort he may settle for Guntur seat. But the million dollar question is as a candidate of which party.
