CPI seeks 3 Lok Sabha, 15 Assembly seats HYDERABAD: State CPI secretary K Narayana demanded three Lok Sabha and 15 Assembly seats as part of poll alliance with TRS. TRS politburo member and MP K Keshav Rao met Narayana at his residence on Tuesday evening. They were closeted for over 45 minutes.
According to sources, Narayana told Keshav Rao that his party was keen on contesting the Nalgonda and Khammam Lok Sabha seats. It is learnt that Keshav Rao did not give any assurance and told Narayana that he would put his proposal before TRS chief K Chandrasekara Rao.
There have been reports that KCR would be meeting Narayana, but he did not turned up till 8 pm. In fact, Narayana told waiting newsmen that the proposed meeting would be taking place on Wednesday.
