Actor Venu Madhav seeks TDP ticket HYDERABAD: Tollywood comedian Venu Madhav seems to have decided to enter the electoral fray on TDP nomination. Strengthening this argument, the film actor on Wednesday called on the TDP chief N Chandrababu Naidu at the latter's residence here.
According to sources, during his meeting with the TDP chief, Venu Madhav evinced interest to contest the ensuing general polls on TDP nomination from Kodad Assembly segment in his native Nalgonda district. However, the actor did not confirm this argument.
After meeting the TDP chief, Venu Mahdav told reporters, saying, 'I am willing to contest the ensuing general polls from any of the place where Telugus live. It could be Seemandhra or Telangana or else any other region'.
However, he made it clear that Naidu would decide on it. Asked about film actor Pawan Kalyan's new political party, Jana Sena, Venu Madhav said, 'It is a super party. I hope the Jana Sena will back the TDP. I will request Kalyan to support the TDP in the ensuing general polls.'
