Kiran blasts Chiranjeevi HYDERABAD: Former chief minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy on Thursday came down heavily on Congress Andhra Campaign Committee chairman K Chiranjeevi for not being able to stand up to the Congress high command and prevent bifurcation.
Speaking to mediapersons at his Jai Samaikyandhra Party office in Madhapur, Kiran Reddy said the role Chiranjeevi had played while the Congress was dividing the state was very deplorable.
'You have raised several demands, including making Hyderabad a UT. Did the Congress concede any of your demands?' he asked.
Kiran Reddy, reacting to Chiranjeevi's broadside against him during bifurcation, said standing up to the high command required courage and quitting the party even more. 'It is not like parroting dialogues,' he said.
