Tirupati city sizzles as mercury shoots up Hyderabad: The day's highest maximum temperature of 40 degrees Celsius was recorded in Tirupati on Thursday, even as isolated rain occurred in coastal Andhra and Telangana. Dry weather prevailed in Rayalaseema.
The maximum temperatures rose at one or two places in Rayalaseema and changed little in coastal Andhra and Telangana.
The minimum temperatures appreciably fell at one or two places in coastal Andhra, fell at one or two places in Telangana, but appreciably rose at one or two places in Rayalaseema. The lowest minimum temperature of 19 degree Celsius was recorded at Arogyavaram.
