Naidu vows to make Kurnool another Hyd KURNOOL: TDP chief N Chandrababu Naidu promised the people of Kurnool that he will make it another Hyderabad city. Addressing a public gathering during his 'Praja Garjana' meeting on the outskirts of Kurnool town on Friday, he said that there is a lot of scope for development in Kurnool.
He promised that if he voted to power, he will solve the drinking water problems in the district and develop industrial sector to provide employment. He urged people not to forget the sacrifices of people from Kurnool for Telugus.
Kurnool has given the Indian society a prime minister, a president and chief ministers, he added. He recalled that Uyyalavada Narsimha Reddy who fought the British was burnt there. He called upon people to teach a good lesson to both Congress and YSRC in elections. He urged the public to vote for the TDP and bring it to power.
Meanwhile, Babu described TRS chief K Chandra Sekhar Rao as a 'donga', UPA chairperson Sonia Gandhi as Sonia 'Gadshe' and YSRC chief YS Jaganmohan Reddy as corruption king. Naidu called upon the people to construct a special Samadhi (funeral place) for the trio.
Several party leaders like party polit buro member KE Krishna Murthy, MP CM Ramesh, former ministers TG Venkatesh, Erasu Pratap Reddy, Silpa Mohan Reddy, MLA KE Prabhakar, party district president Somisetty Venkateswarlu and others participated.
