Modi impressed with Pawan's passion Hyderabad: It is learnt that Modi appreciated Pawan's powerpacked speech at the function organised to launch his new party Jana Sena wherein he gave a Clarion Call of `Congress hatao, Desh Bachao.'
Pawan, according to sources, was closeted with Modi for about 40 minutes. He is said to have sought the support of Modi and BJP in his mission to 'finish' the Congress party which was ridden with corruption.
He reportedly said that both Telangana and Andhra Pradesh State need to put in fast-forward mode, and that he believes it can become possible only by Modi.
Later, Pawan told the media that he had promised Modi that he would extend his full support to Modi. 'He will surely be the next Prime Minister. I have no doubts about it,'' the 42-yearold popular Telugu actor said.
He further said, 'I didn't visit him as a politician. So, we haven't talked about any alliances. I just came here to support Narendra Modi as PM. People have suffered a lot due to indecisive Congress. I want Modi as the Prime Minister of this country.
Still, there are many problems in both States (Andhra Pradesh, Telangana) which would be solved only if Modi comes to power. I didn't come to politics to hold power; people's suffering compelled me to join politics.' He also refused to disclose whether he would contest the elections and if so from which constituency.
'I have not yet decided on where I would be contesting from. It would take a few more days to decide from where I am going to contest for the elections,'' he said.
