Ramachandraiah ridicules Naidu's Vision 2020 talk Hyderabad, March 24 (INN): Former minister C Ramachandraiah on Monday ridiculed TDP chief N Chandrababu Naidu's Vision 2020 for Seemandhra region.
Speaking to media persons at Indira Bhavan, the headquarters of residuary State of Andhra Pradesh, Ramchandraiah described the Vision document as bogus and said that it was aimed at personal gains and not public welfare.
Although Naidu served as the Chief Minister for nine years and was the Leader of the Opposition for an equivalent period, he failed to understand the pulse of the people. He said that the TDP would never be able to ensure social justice as Naidu's himself practices dictatorship in the party.
Reacting to the joining of former minister JC Diwakar Reddy in the TDP, Ramachandraiah alleged that Naidu was offering packages to lure Congress leaders. He said that the TDP was trying to take advantage of Congress party's weakness in Seemandhra region.
He also question Naidu's stand on State's bifurcation and said if the TDP chief was against bifurcation, then why did he gave a letter to the Centre supporting Telangana formation.
Ramachandraiah also expressed surprise over Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan's meeting with BJP's Prime Ministerial candidate Narendra Modi. Stating that he personally know Pawan Kalyan as a person who strongly believes in secularism.
However, Pawan's meeting with Modi, who is accused of being responsible for the 2002 communal riots, has surprised him, he said.
