Botsa to deliver death blow to Congress Hyderabad, March 25: Former PCC president and North Andhra strongman Botsa Satyanarayana is all set to deliver a death blow to Congress. According to reliable sources, he along with 15 other Congress MLAs is all set to jump on BJP-Modi bandwagon in a couple of days.
Botsa after having discussed prevailing conditions in Seemandhra with his loyalist Congress MLAs and followers has ultimately made up his mind to join BJP to secure political future of him as well as his loyalist MLAs.
Peeved over Congress high commands recent constitution Seemandhra PCC replacing him with Raghuveera Reddy.
Botsa was not seen nor heard for the past few days in the day to day rigmarole of party's election campaign. His conspicuous absence at Congress Bus Yatra recently launched at Srikakulam, did raise a few eyebrows.
Having thoroughly convinced that Congress party in Seemandhra holds future in the wake of bifurcation and after facing a hostile public mood, Botsa, thought it is wiser to leave the sinking ship to save his political future.
In this backdrop Bosta started ringing top leaders of BJP for an invitation to join the party and got positive signs from them. Botsa will be leaving for Delhi tomorrow to meet BJP president Rajnath Singh. A top BJP leader has confirmed this saying Botsa's entry into party will demolish the last bastion of Congress in North Andhra region.
If everything goes well, according to sources, Botsa will be joining BJP along with 15 other Congress MLAs and a horde of his followers. Should this happen it will be serving a death blow to already sagging fortunes of grand old party in the region.
