We will be a force in Telangana: Vijayamma

Kothagudem (Khammam dist), March 25: Party Honorary President, YS Vijayamma has began her electioneering in Telangana region with a firm assurance that her family will be with the people of the region and all the poll promises made YS Jagan Mohan Reddy will be implemented in the region in the true letter and spirit and said the Party will be a force to reckon with here as well.

'There has been division of the state but I assure you that our family will stay with you in this region also and the five poll promises along with all YSR schemes will be extended to the people here and I appeal you to vote for YSRCP fan symbol, 'she said in her maiden speech of election campaigning in Telangana.

While bringing back all the welfare schemes of YSR, YS Jagan Mohan Reddy who has inherited all the qualities of good governance and concern to the people from his father, will extend the free school education, hike in old age pension, setting up of Market Stabilisation Fund, waiving of DWACRA loans and decentralization of governance in this region also, she said and stressed the promise of the family being with the people of the Tealangana region at all times.

Reminding that YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has inherited credibility from his father, she said, all the welfare schemes will be in place in the region and sought a thorough mandate from the people.

The housing scheme and mitigating of drinking water issue will also be continued in this region, she said and appealed to the people to vote for YRCP fan symbol in the municipal, manda, zilla parishad, assembly and Lok Sabha elections.

It was YSR who has cared for the BCs and Minorities and he has provided 4 % reservations to minorities besides launching the Aarogyasri, fees reimbursement and pavala vaddi schemes while Chandrababu Naidu has never bothered about the farmers, never did he waive any loan and was harsh on farmers who did not pay bills on time besides BC students who were demanding hike in mess charges and Anganwadi workers who were on dharna seeking higher pay.

He has done away with all the welfare schemes of NTR and the sum of Rs 625 crores allotted to BC welfare was misappropriated by his party leaders and cadre while the artisans were left high and dry, she said.

Naidu has been boasting of developing Hyderabad city, but it was the fifth best city even while he was a kid. He has built two buildings and two fly-overs that lack direction of landing while it was YSR has built the international airport, Express Highway and Outer Ring Road.

Naidu is known for his false claims and burdening people. In the name of HiTech city, he has taxed people to a tune of Rs 55,000 crores while YSR did not impose any new tax or increase of RTC bus fares or power charges while he carried out all the welfare activities, she said.

While YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, I and other leaders and cadre undertook fasts and dharnas on various people's issues, Naidu was never seen criticizing the State Government nor was he seen sitting on a dharna, she said.

He lacks credibility and his anti-people policies have kept him away from the governance, she said adding that our family will be with you and will work for our welfare.
