Rayapati's entry into TDP rattle others Guntur: The prestigious Narsaraopet Lok Sabha seat has become a topic of intense discussion across the State, with talk of a change of TDP sitting member Modugula Venugopal Reddy. The TDP cadre is confident of victory, irrespective of who the nominee will be.
Meanwhile, the leaders are having a tough time. Although Venugopal is confident of getting the ticket, there is no backing from the party because his YSRCP opponent Ayodhya Rami Reddy is his brother in-law. The TDP's likely candidates are Rayapati Sambasiva Rao, Lavu Rathayya, Pemmasani Chandrasekhar.
Venugopal is trying to cash in on the situation arising out of YSRCP legislators in the Assembly segments working against Ayodhya Rami Reddy. Besides, Rami Reddy's failure to make the Narsaraopet meeting attended by party chief YS Jaganmohan Reddy successful is said to be going against his interests.
Venugopal's plus point will be strong TDP legislators in Vinukonda, Pedakurapadu, Chilakaluripet and Gurajala Assembly segments.
