Sharmila to contest from Vizag LS seat
Hyderabad: YSR Congress president YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has decided to field his sister Sharmila from Visakhapatnam Lok Sabha constituency in the ensuing general elections, whereas his uncle YV Subba Reddy might be the party candidate for Ongole Lok Sabha segment, sources said.
As expected, Jagan Mohan Reddy has decided to contest from Pulivendula Assembly segment which is his family bastion. The constituency is being represented now by his mother YS Vijayalakshmi, who will not be in the electoral fray from any seat this time.
The YSRC boss wants to field his cousin Avinash Reddy for the Kadapa Lok Sabha seat which he is representing now. Jagan's uncle and Kadapa former mayor Ravindranath Reddy might be nominated as YSRC candidate from Kamalapuram Assembly seat.
