TDP turns scrap buying shop, says Kiran GUNTUR: Referring to the influx of Congress leaders into Telugu Desam Party (TDP), Jai Samaikyandhra Party (JSP) president N Kiran Kumar Reddy has mocked TDP chief N Chandrababu Naidu for turning the party into a scrap buying shop.
'Chandrababu Naidu has two-tongue policy. In Telangana, he is saying one thing and the contrary other in Seemandhra. He has no moral right to ask for votes in Seemandhra region. With bifurcation, it is Telangana which will face misfortune in the form of shortage of power and et al,' he said while addressing a road show in Tenali Friday.
He came down heavily on TDP and Congress for their role in AP state bifurcation. 'While Hyderabad has been developed with the taxes paid by the Seemandhra people, the party leadership in Delhi has unfairly divided the state.
Though I have made detailed presentation to them about the problems likely to arise out of bifurcation, the Congress has ruthlessly divided the state by closing the Parliament doors. Unable to bear this humiliation and injustice, I have come out of Congress and set up JSP.'
The former chief minister urged the people to vote for his party so as to teach a lesson to the parties that supported bifurcation.
Amalapuram MP GV Harsha Kumar, party Tenali incharge Koti Nagayya and party leader Gangadhar were present.
