Dinesh Reddy joins YSRCP HYDERABAD: Former DGP V Dinesh Reddy on Monday joined the YSR Congress party in the presence of party chief Jagan Mohan Reddy. The retired IPS officer, who came along with a few of his supporters to the Lotus Pond residence of Jagan Reddy at around 10 am, was welcomed into the party by Jagan. NMU leader Syed Mahmood also joined the YSRC on the occasion.
Speaking to mediapersons, Dinesh Reddy said the welfare schemes and development initiatives of YSRwere unparalleled.
Asked about allegations of corruption against Jaganmohan Reddy, the former DGP said allegations can be made against anyone, and it is an open secret that those against Jagan are politically motivated.
Asked whether he will be contesting the coming elections, Dinesh said he will definitely contest, but the constituency from where he will contest will be decided by his party leadership.
