Naidu now chants 'BC PM' mantra HYDERABAD: After harping on 'BC chief minister' slogan for Telangana, TDP chief N Chandrababu Naidu has now began chanting 'BC PM' mantra.
'We are committed to make a BC the first chief minister of Telangana state. Apart from this, if BJP-led NDA is voted to power at the Centre, Narendra Modi, a BC leader, will become the prime minister of the country,' Naidu said.
Naidu said, 'Only the TDP can establish social Telangana, where people belonging to weaker sections will be empowered on all fronts. Hence, I call upon people from weaker sections in the region to vote for the TDP-BJP combine in the ensuing general polls.'
Naidu said, 'Since its inception, the TDP has been waging relentless fight for the well-being and political empowerment of BCs. Even in future our party will continue to protect the rights of the people from weaker sections in the new state.''
Party leader and state BC Welfare Association chief R Krishnaiah, who is being projected as the TDP's chief ministerial candidate for Telangana, made a fervent appeal to people from the downtrodden classes from the region to cast their vote for the TDP in the ensuing polls.
