Naidu making false promises says Sharmila
KHAMMAM: YSR Congress leader Sharmila has alleged that Telugu Desam Party president N Chandrababu Naidu was trying to cheat people by promising impractical things to win the ensuing state and general elections.
At a public meeting at Kusumanchi as part of the three-day election campaign in Khammam district Sunday, Sharmila said that Babu never stood by his word and he was once again coming to deceive the people by telling lies.
She alleged that the yellow party chief had committed that he would not align with the BJP but in the end he did it. She also said the YSRC was the only party that fought with the government on people's problems in the last five years.
The YSRC leader also said Jagananna went to jail without committing any mistake. She recalled that YS Rajasekhara Reddy had started his padayatra from the Telangana region. The YSR family is indebted to the people of the region for supporting them, she said.
