Pawan to campaign for BJP in Telangana Hyderabad: BJP state president Kishan Reddy Monday met Tollywood powerstar and Jana Sena founder, Pawan Kalyan at the latter's residence in Hyderabad. Speaking to reporters after his meeting, Kishan Reddy said that he appealed to Pawan to actively involve himself and his followers in BJP's election campaign in Telangana.
"Pawan Kalyan recently met our national president Rajnath Singh. If the existing problems plaguing the country have to be eradicated, the country needs a PM like Mod," he said.
The only talk that is being heard among voters is that Congress is the root cause for rampant corruption in India, he said, adding: "Pawan too echoed the same sentiments during his Jana Sena meet in Visakhapatnam held last month." Kishan Reddy invited Pawan to campaign for his party in Telangana inroder to drive away Congress from power.
"Pawan will soon make an announcement on our appeal to join our party's election campaign after consulting his friends and well wishers," said Kishan Reddy. He also said that Modi was mighty impressed by Pawan's ideologies and had asked the actor to come out in the open for the good of society and people.
When asked if Pawan had discussed on the seat sharing, Kishan said that Pawan was least interested in seat sharing and that the actor's only interest was to drive away Congress which has corrupted the system.
"Pawan's fight is against the corrupt system and Congress," he said."Pawan will not interfere in seat sharing," the state BJP president added. It's a known fact that BJP and TDP have agreed for a pre-poll pact. Does it mean Pawan will campaign for the Telugu Desam too?
Kishan Reddy says: "If Pawan is campaigning in a place where both TDP and BJP candidates are contesting, then it would definitely benefit both the parties."
