KCR smells a conspiracy behind TD-BJP alliance SANGAREDDY: Alleging that the TDP-BJP alliance in Telangana is intended to protect the 1.5 lakh acres of assigned land 'encroached' upon by TDP chief N Chandrababu Naidu and BJP senior leader Venkaiah Naidu's son-in-law, TRS president K Chandrasekahar Rao on Friday declared that he would 'resume' the land from the duo and distribute it to the poor.
Speaking at a well-attended public meeting at Gajwel in Medak district from where he is seeking election to the Assembly, KCR said both Naidus were prepared to spend up to `1,000 crore to prevent the TRS from coming to power.
KCR termed the TDP-BJP alliance a grand conspiracy and claimed that even when he was leading the T movement, Seemandhra leaders had tried to lure him with offers of money and positions of power but that he doggedly pursued his T dream.
Turning his ire on the Congress, he said its candidates fail to inspire the people since some of them like TPCC chief Ponnala Lakshmaiah are involved in graft cases.
