Naidu will stoop to any level, thunders Kiran Hyderabad : Jai Samaikyandhra Party president N Kiran Kumar Reddy criticised TDP president Nara Chandrababu Naidu for his role in bifurcation of the State and said that the latter had no shame to seek votes for his party, which supported the bifurcation process with other power-hungry parties.
Addressing a road show at Gudur, Kiran said that thousands of people who gathered at the road show should enlighten lakhs of people about the need for Samaikyandhra at the critical juncture.
He said that it was regrettable that after 57 years, bifurcation was taking place amidst anguish and agony.Comparing the bifurcation to that of an elderly couple being divorced after staying together for long, he said that Chandrababu Naidu would stoop to any level to achieve his political goal. He questioned Babu's audacity to seek votes in a region that supported the Samaikyandhra cause.
Launching a broadside against YCP chief Y S Jaganmohan Reddy, Kiran said that Jagan was keen on occupying the chief minister's chair at any cost.
Kiran reiterated that he never clamored for power by hurting the sentiments of people of any region. He said that he always held the Samaikyandhra cause dear to his heart and that was the reason he did not enter the electoral battle.
He said that he wanted to tour all places and educate voters on the urgent need to maintain unity in the State. He said though BJP leaders including L K Advani, Sushma Swaraj, Arun Jaitely and Narendra Modi termed the T Bill as 'unconstitutional', they all supported the passage of T Bill in both houses of Parliament.
He appealed to the voters to seize this opportunity to show support to Samaikyandhra and vote for JSP as this was the last chance to do so. He said that he had sanctioned Rs 72 crore for providing drinking water in Gudur.
Speaking on the occasion, CPM leader Madhu said that right from the beginning, CPM had been opposing the bifurcation. He accused that Congress and BJP joined hands together and supported the bifurcation for their political convenience.
He claimed that their support to the separate statehood cause was not born out of their commitment, but only for their personal convenience.
