Naidu, Pawan to share dias with Modi today HYDERABAD: BJP's prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi will address four public meetings in Telangana on Tuesday. The four places are Nizamabad, Karimnagar, Mahbubnagar and Hyderabad.
In Hyderabad, TDP Chief N Chandrababu Naidu and Jana Sena founder-president Pawan Kalyan will share the dais with Modi. The meeting is being organised under the NDA banner. At Mahbubnagar, Pawan Kalyan will not be there but Naidu will share the platform with Modi.
Modi will arrive in Nizamabad from Maharashtra at 1.45 pm and address a public meeting at 2 pm there. He will depart from Nizamabad and arrive in Karimnagar at 3.15 pm.
After addressing a rally there, he will leave at 3.45 pm for Mahabubnagar. He will reach Mahabubnagar at 5 pm and address a public meeting there.
He will leave for Hyderabad at 5.40 pm, arrive at the Begumpet airport at 6.15 pm and proceed tos LB Stadium where he will address a public meeting at 6.30 pm.
Once the first phase of poll is over in Telangana on April 30, Modi's campaigning in Seemandhra will be finalised. He is expected to address public meetings at four places in Seemandhra and the dates are yet to be worked out. The places will include the constituencies from where BJP and TDP candidates are contesting for the Lok Sabha.
BJP Telangana unit chief G Kishan Reddy and national spokesman Prakash Javadekar will accompany Modi to all the meetings.
According to BJP state leaders, leader of the opposition in the Lok Sabha Sushma Swaraj will address a series of meetings in Telangana on April 25. She will address public meetings at Kalwakurthi, Medak, Warangal and Bhongir.
Goa chief minister Manohar Parrikar will also address rallies in Telangana on the same day. Party president Rajnath Singh was supposed to address rallies on April 25 but his programme has been cancelled. Former BJP president Nitin Gadkari's scheduled poll campaign in Telangana has also been cancelled.
