Local body poll results to be out on May 12, 13
HYDERABAD: The results for the 10 municipal corporations and 146 municipalities and nagar panchayats will be announced on May 12 while the Zilla Parishad Territorial Constituencies (ZPTCs) and Mandal Parishad Territorial Constituencies (MPTCs) results will be declared on May 13.
Counting of votes will start from 8 am and results will be declared on the same day after completion of counting, according to SEC P Ramakanth Reddy.
With political parties approaching the Supreme Court, the results were postponed as the court directed the SEC to announce the results after the completion of Assembly and Lok Sabha polls on April 30 in Telangana and May 7 in Seemandhra.
Municipal and nagar ppolls were held on March 30 and MPTC-ZPTC polls were conducted in two phases on April 6 and 11.
