Thousands bid tearful adieu to Shoba KURNOOL: The Allagadda town turned into a sea of humanity as nearly one lakh people converged on the town from various places to participate in the funeral procession of YSRCP MLA Shoba Nagi Reddy, who was killed in a road accident.
Seriously injured in a car accident near Allagadda on Wednesday night, she succumbed to the injuries in a private hospital in Hyderabad on Thursday morning.
YSRCP chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, along with his mother and party's honorary president Y S Vjayamma and his sister YS Sharmila , visited Shoba' s residence and paid floral tributes to her mortal remains. They also consoled Shoba's bereaved family.
Meanwhile, thousands of people gathered all along the route of the funeral procession and bid a tearful farewell to their beloved MLA. Her son B Jagath Vikyath Reddy lit the funeral pyre.
