Jagan will carry forward YSR legacy: Vijayamma

S Rayavaram (Visakhapatnam dist), April 26 (INN): Reiterating that YS Jagan Mohan Reddy will carry forward the legacy of YSR as he has the will, vision and commitment for the uplift and welfare of the people of all sections, YS Vijayamma has appealed to the people to vote for YSRCP fan symbol to enable the new state to prosper and compete with other states in the country.

'Jagan has the commitment and has imbibed all the qualities of being with the people and showing concern to their problems from YSR and he understands your needs and electing him as Chief Minister by giving a clear mandate to YSRCP will bring back the golden era of YSR to the new state,' she said while addressing a road show as part of the electioneering here on Saturday.

She drew huge round of applause when she paid tributes to the legendary playwright, poet and social reformer Gurazada Appa Rao who is a native of the land.

'We have waged a fierce battle to keep the state united but divisive forces have split the state for the sake of votes and seats. You are all aware of the dubious role played by TDP President N Chandrababu Naidu and Kiran Kumar Reddy in the division process.

We are deprived of Hyderabad city which has quality institutions for education, medicare and potential for jobs. It is imperative for us to develop a new state capital with infrastructure, seaports, airports, hospitals, educational institutions and others and this can be done by a person who has a vision and sincerity like YSR.

Jagan has all these qualities and I assure you that the state will leapfrog in terms of development and I appeal you to strengthen his hands,' she said.

To develop the new state faster we need to have numbers and your valuable vote to YSRCP will place us on a strong pedestal in Delhi to get funds. I again appeal you to vote for YSRCP fan symbol and we will win all 25 MP seats here and some more seats in Telangana region which will keep us in good stead in the Parliament.

The local issues of sugar factory and others will be solved amicably as our party leaders will be available and I will also be here to serve you along with the people of the north coastal Andhra districts.

YS Jagan Mohan Reddy will fulfill all the poll promises and the five files he will be signing on the first day of assuming office will be that of Amma Vodi which will help mothers to educate their two children. Rs 1,000 will be deposited monthly for the school education of two children, for undergraduate course it will be Rs 1,400 and for graduation it will be Rs 2,000 per month.

The second file he has promised to sign will increase the pensions to Rs 700. A Market Stabilisation Fund will be set up as a cushion to the farmers during price fluctuations, all DWACRA loans will be waived and administration will be decentralized. These five promises will be done by Jagan immediately after assuming power.

This apart, he will build 50 lakh houses with pattas in five years, provide gas subsidy, and give 150 untis of power for Rs 100 and ensure 7 hour power supply to farmers in daytime. Closing of belt shops and employing local women in police force to check the social evil is also on the Party agenda, she said.

The ex-gratia to fishermen will be increased from Rs 2 lakh to Rs 5 laksh and during the period fishermen do not venture into seas they will be paid a pension of Rs 3,000 per month, she said adding that their vote is very precious and they should be very judicious in selecting a leader who will be with them and work for them.
