KCR, Jaipal are 'Migratory Birds': Naidu KURNOOL: TDP chief N Chandrababu Naidu sharpened his attacks on the Congress and TRS in a series of public meetings he addressed at Ija, Achampet and Jedcharla in Mahabubnagar district on Saturday. Speaking at the meetings, he described Union minister S Jaipal Reddy and TRS chief K Chandrasekhara Rao as 'valasa pakshulu' (migratory birds).
In each election, they contest from a different constituency so that they do not have to think about the welfare of the people who had elected him. Jaipal Reddy had contested once from Miryalaguda and later from Chevella and is now seeking election from Mahbubnagar Lok Sabha constituency, Naidu said.
KCR too had been doing the same. He had promised the people of Mahbubnagar Lok Sabha constituency that he would stay at least for 15 days a month in Mahbubnagar but after elections he did a vanishing act.
'KCR is a cheat. After elections he would forget people and confine himself to his farmhouse. He would not allow people to enter his house and would, instead, unleash his dogs after them if they tried to go inside his house,' he said.
The TDP chief also attacked AICC vice-president Rahul Gandhi for trying to save KVP Ramachandrarao who is an accused in the titanium ore mining lease scam. 'If Rahul has guts, he should ask the investigation authorities to arrest the Rajya Sabha member before talking about probity in public life,' Naidu said.
Naidu did not spare former minister DK Aruna either for not bothering about her neighbouring constituencies. Though she was a minister, she confined herself to her constituency, he said.
'Palamuru people are migrating to other places to eke out a living every year due to lack of work in their villages, There are no drinking and irrigation water facilities in the district,' he said.
BC leader R Krishnaiah, and party candidates Abraham and Ramulu attended the meeting.
