TDP suspends eight 'Rebel' candidates
HYDERABAD: Finally, the TDP leadership has cracked the whip on its rebels who are in the fray in Assembly constituencies allotted to the BJP as part of an electoral alliance between the two parties in Seemandhra.
Not sparing even its sitting MLA from Kovvur, TV Rama Rao, the yellow party suspended eight rebels for not withdrawing their nominations. Interestingly, some of them filed their nomination papers as the party's official candidates with the party's B-forms the party leadership itself had given.
The suspended candidates are TV Rama Rao (Kovvur), Kottu Satyanarayana (Tadeplligudem), Sudha Durga Prasada Rao (Kadapa), R Jithendra Goud (Guntakal), Nimmaka Jaya Raju (Kurupam), Kumbha Ravi Babu (Araku), S Anitha (Bheemili) and SVSN Varma (Pithapuram).
