Don't trust Naidu, Jagan tells Telangana voters KHAMMAM: YSRC president YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has said that all welfare schemes promised by YSRC in the Seemandhra region will also be implemented in Telangana if it comes to power. As a part of his election campaign Sunday, he held roadshows at Sattupalli, Penuballi, Kallur, Tallada and Wyra in Khammam district.
Speaking at a roadshow in Sattupalli, Jagan asserted that YSRC had every right to seek votes in Telangana as his father and former chief minister YS Rajasekhara Reddy had implemented many welfare schemes for the poor and middle class people in Telangana.
Coming down heavily on TDP president Chandrababu Naidu, Jagan said that the latter does not have a moral right to ask for votes in Telangana as he had never cared for the region during his regime.
Jagan urged the people not to believe Naidu's false promises and advised the people to question him as to why he had neglected development when he was chief minister.
Jagan received a rousing reception from people during his roadshows in the district. He had to cancel his tour of Khammam due to time constraints. Khammam parliamentary seat candidate Ponguleti Srinivasa Reddy was also present.
