Pawan shares dais with Naidu Hyderabad: With an objective to ensure the victory of TDP and BJP candidates, Jana Sena Party chief Pawan Kalyan and TDP president Nara Chandrababu Naidu on Sunday campaigned together in Kandukur of Rangareddy district.
Both the leaders shared dais at a public meeting held at Kandukur in Maheswaram assembly segment. Interestingly, it is the first joint election campaign of the actor turned politician Pawan Kalyan and former chief minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu after the latter personally met the former and requested him to campaign in support of the TDP and BJP contesting candidates in the upcoming polls.
While Pawan Kalyan formally launched his election campaign three days ago in Telangana region, both the leaders did not share dais till date.
The coming together of the two leaders only boosted the sagging morale of the TDP workers, who were looking for a star campaigner for the party in Telangana region.
Addressing a series of public meetings in Rangareddy district, Pawan Kalyan said that he would strive for the development of a new Telangana state.
Continuing his verbal tirade against TRS president K Chandrasekhara Rao for the second consecutive day, he said that the tall statements of KCR would not ensure development in the new state.
He reiterated that he would not keep mum if any leader criticized national leaders like Narendra Modi. 'TRS president KCR is continuously deriding BJP prime ministerial candidate in his election campaign. I got angry but patiently heard him without expressing my reaction. But when my patience got over, I cornered him,' he thundered.
Calling upon people to vote for TDP and BJP candidates in the upcoming elections, the actor said that he had extended his support to the NDA as he thought that the development of both the new states and country was possible only under the leadership of BJP prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi.
He also added that Modi alone could ensure the creation of golden Telangana. 'Modi is an able leader. He can alone ensure the development of country and Telangana state. He has the ability to create Golden Telangana,' the actor said.
The presence of Pawan Kalyan in his public meeting had its impact on Chandrababu Naidu as well. Naidu, instead of continuing his routine political rhetoric of highlighting the manifesto promises of the party, targeted the youth and asked them to come forward and vote for the TDP and BJP for the development of the Telangana state.
