Errabelli, Maganti Babu hospitalised Hyderabad: Two TDP leaders Errabelli Dayakar Rao and Maganti Babu took serious ill and fell unconscious on Monday. While holding a party meeting, Rao, who is Palakurthy Assembly candidate, suddenly collapsed. Alarmed, party men rushed him to local Muthireddy Hospital, where he was treated. As his condition did not improve, he was rushed to Hyderabad.
Party activists offered special poojas in An janeya Swamy Temple here praying for Rao's speedy recovery. Rao was bitten by honeybees at an election meeting at Ragannagudem of Rayaparthy mandal on April 21, forcing him to call it off for the day.
Meanwhile Maganti Babu, TDP candidate for the Eluru Lok Sabha seat, who was released on bail by a court in Tadepalligudem, fell unconscious. He is being treated in K V Private Hospital in Eluru.
Dr. K V Vishnumohan said he would be under observation for two days. If a surgery was required he would be shifted to either Vijayawada or Hyderabad. Babu had sustained injuries on hand and head in an accident on Sunday night, while returning after campaigning. There was a problem in his brain, the doctor stated.
