Naidu calls Sonia an anaconda of corruption ONGOLE: Telugu Desam president N Chandrababu Naidu has come down heavily on Congress president Sonia Gandhi and described her again as an 'Anaconda of Corruption'.
Speaking at an election meeting at Darsi in Prakasam district on Tuesday, Naidu alleged that Sonia Gandhi had not just transformed into an 'Anaconda of corruption' but also given birth to two corrupt Anacondas in the state: YSRC chief YS Jaganmohan Reddy and TRS chief K Chandrasekhar Rao. 'YS Jagan is the adopted son and KCR the rented son of Sonia,' he remarked.
Naidu arrived at Darsi by helicopter at around 2 pm and participated in a public meeting at the Clock Tower. He alleged that YS Rajasekhara Reddy had allocated all mineral resources in the state to his daughter Sharmila.
'Had these resources been properly utilised, many jobs would have been created for the youth,' he said and added that almost all the candidates contesting on behalf of YSRC were corrupt.
Claiming that he alone could put Seemandhra on the path of development that others would envy, the TDP chief expressed confidence that the BJP would form the next government at the Centre and he would have a say in deciding what would be best for the state.
Asking people to teach Sonia gandhi a befitting lesson, who divided the state to make Rahul Gandhi prime minister, the TDP supremo urged them to vote for the BJP-TDP alliance.
Markapuram Tour Cancelled
After the meeting at Darsi, Naidu was scheduled to campaign in Markapuram and Kandukuru in Prakasam district. But due to a technical sng that his helicopter developed, campaigning at both the places was cancelled and Naidu left for Rapur by road.
TDP Ongole MP candidate Magunta Sreenivasulu Reddy, Darsi MLA candidate Siddha Raghava Rao accompanied Naidu.
