Jagan wants farmers to rot in debts says Naidu VIZIANAGARAM/SRIKAKULAM: Firing salvos at Congress and YSR Congress for ignoring the people's welfare, Telugu Desam Party president N Chandrababu Naidu sought to know why YSRC chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy was opposed to waiver of the loans to farmers and Self Help Groups (SHGs). Jagan lives in the palaces, while he wants farmers to suffer in debts, Naidu said.
Addressing public meetings in Vizianagaram district and in Srikakulam district, Naidu stated that Jagan and TRS president K Chandrasekhar Rao had colluded and hence do not criticise each other.
'They either must be lovers or should have a deep understanding for not criticising each other,' he ridiculed. Terming the YSRC as a psycho party and Jagan's business empire based on corruption, Naidu advised people to think twice before they vote for the criminals. If voted to power, Jagan would occupy not just government and private properties but also loot people. Naidu accused AICC president Sonia Gandhi for dividing the state without following proper procedure.
'Who gave the rights to Sonia Gandhi to divide this state? It is not her personal property,' he questioned and added that Congress had ruined the country without any concern for the development and welfare of people.
He got personal with regard to Congress leader Digvijaya Singh and ridiculed his plans to wed at an old age. He called the Congress leadership as immoral and corrupt who are playing with the lives of the Telugu people.
Naidu did not spare former PCC chief Botcha Satyanarayana as well and felt that the latter will be forgotten in no time as he did little for people but focused on his illegal sand mining and liquor mafia for increasing his fortunes.
'Teach him a lesson to send a clear message to the corrupt politicians like him,' he added. He reiterated that Narendra Modi will become the prime minister and TDP will come to power in the state to provide a progressive and inclusive development.
