TDP's triumph is Jana Sena's victory: Pawan RAJAHMUNDRY: Making it clear that he is not after power and position in the government, Jana Sena Party (JSP) president Pawan Kalyan has claimed that this is precisely the reason for his party keeping off the current elections.
Addressing a huge gathering here, he said he was ready to do anything for the people. 'But, we shall wait up to 2019 elections. I am not a coward to run away from problems and responsibilities,' he added.
The Jana Sena president said that he would always take sides with the people and question the government if it failed to address their problems. Pawan Kalyan said he would continue to act in films and hastened to add that he was ready to quit his profession if need be.
There was no difference between the Congress and the YSR Congress (YSRC) and the latter would loot the state if it was voted to power.
He said at present, the state and the country needs experienced leaders to run the governments. The Congress and YSRC had destroyed the state. The people should not support both the parties, he added.
Pitching for Narendra Modi as prime minister and Nara Chandrababu Naidu as chief minister of Seemandhra, the actor-turned-politician said a victory for TDP was a victory for Jana Sena.
He appealed to the people to elect Rajahmundry LS TDP candidate Maganti Murali Mohan, Rajahmundry Urban BJP candidate Dr Akula Satyanarayana and Rajahmundry Rural TDP candidate Gorantla Buchaiah Choudary to strengthen the hands of Modi and Naidu.
