Take money, vote for TD-BJP: Pawan VIZIANAGARAM: Jana Sena Party president Pawan Kalyan seems to have landed himself in fresh trouble. He gave a call to voters to take money from YSR Congress party but vote for the TDP-BJP alliance in the ensuing elections for the Assembly and the Lok Sabha, during a public meeting here Saturday. His call is considered to be a violation of the election code and might attract the wrath of the Election Commission.
Pawan Kalyan, who was going hammer and tongs against the YSRC, alleged that the YSRC leaders had been spending about `4,000 to 5,000 per vote in Guntur district and encouraged the voters in Vizianagaram to demand more money from the YSRC candidates.
'The money being distributed by them (YSRC) was looted from public and there is nothing wrong in taking it back, if your financial condition is very bad. But do not sell your vote to them. Elect your candidate wisely. Vote for TDP-BJP for a secure future and prevent the YSRC goondas from looting the state further,' he said.
The actor-turned-politician said that he was forced to plunge into politics in the wake of the state bifurcation and the procedure followed by the Congress which created a divide between the Telugu people in the two regions.
'I never asked anyone for anything. But to protect the national integration and well-being of people, I had to come out and ask people to vote for the TDP-BJP alliance,' he added.
